This project was developed during one of my last graphic design courses I took at George Mason University. I have always been a fan of bold, thought-provoking ads, this piece allowed me the opportunity to recreate that feeling. The project centers on fashion, the second largest contributors to worldwide pollution. My goal with this advertisement was to speak to a demographic that frequently shops at these retailers while contrasting the typical look and feel seen in fashion ads. I wanted to create visual tension by adding harsh textures to the ads over the models. My hope is to start a conversation and to provide a reminder to consumers that the decisions they make when shopping have a larger impact on the planet.
